Common Make-Up Mistakes

So, I was watching a certain make-up guru's video about make up mistakes and I realised that hey! I should do a video like that WITHOUT BEING A TOTAL DICK ABOUT IT! God, there's actually nothing wrong with being nice once in a while! All I am going to do in my video is talk to you guys about how to improve any mistakes you might make with your make up. I am NOT going to tell you that you look 'gross' or 'disgusting' because thats me. I have this amazing ability to talk to people as if they are human beings! I think some gurus forget that actual people watch their videos...
Anyway, this is turning into a bit of a bitch-fest, but the video will be up soon, plus a blog post with all the information that you need to go with the video! :)

Hair Plans!

Hey guys! So I was just sitting around thinking today, and I decided that I am going to dye my hair red. Not like pillar-box red but a nice deep darkish red. Now this proves a bit of a problem, because my hair is currently dyed jet black and damaged to f**k! Sorry, I couldn't think of any other words to describe it there!
Anyways, I have come up with this list after a bit of research. It includes tips, for myself really, on how I can get my hair back into some kind of decent condition before the big transformation!

EARTH Element Inspired Make-Up Look

Hey guys! OMG I absolutely love this look! Excuse me while I have a makeup-gasm...

*ahem*

Anyways, this is a mock contest entry to my element theme contest. I will be doing looks for all 4 elements but I have chosen to start with Earth. First of all, I did a wearable neutral look on the top lid, as some of the personality traits of Earth astrological signs are calmness and togetherness, so I did quite a subtle look first of all. I then added greens under the eye to represent forests and woodland. The best bit of this look is definitely the leopard print! I wanted to show my links to animals of the earth, so I think this awesome pattern embodies that quite well! I also added glossy lips, flirty lashes and winged liner because the earth element relates to feminine energy. Anyhow, I'm gonna stop waffling before you fall asleep reading this! Hey guys! So this make-up look was taken from the movie 'Black Swan' which, in my opinion, is one of the best movies I have EVER seen. Seriously, GO SEE IT! This is the first of 2 Black Swan inspired looks that I will be doing. This one was taken from the movie poster shown below, where Natalie Portman portrays the Black Swan. Rihanna 'What's My Name?' Make-Up Look

Hey everyone! So, for this tutorial, I decided to do a look based on Rihanna's music video for 'What's My Name?' as I have been trying to focus on popular celebrities and culture. In this post I have included an image of the original look from which I pulled my inspiration, of course my camera washes everything out so the picture above makes the purple shadow look alot lighter than it is in real life.
