Sleek 'Oh So Special' Palette Look

Hey guys! So, when I was in London, I picked up the Sleek 'Oh So Special' Palette which I instantly fell in love with. The light pinks look so pretty! I used the palette to create this look which also features a bright pop of AMAZING Inglot gel liner to add something really unexpected to the eye. Of course you don't have to do it if you want to keep the look more neutral but it's all down to what you prefer! Me and my good friend Mathilde (aka Tildzbox on youtube) came up with an idea for a collab ages ago, we wanted to make it SUPER dramatic and crazy, as dramatic and crazy are definitely where our strengths lie! Sunny Delight. California style of course. I've been living off the stuff lately. Theres nothing better than drinking 500% of your daily recommended allowance of vitamin C in one go!
My new favourite film, Sucker Punch! I thought this was awful the first time I saw it but I understand it better now. Can you tell me what is better than hot lasses (no homo) kicking ass in short skirts, along with the most awesome movie soundtrack ever, and AMAZING make up?
Individual lashes. I used these for the first time yesterday and they are amazingggg!

Hates

The fact that there isn't any IWF wrestling shows on until September. SEPTEMBER! Whatever will I do?
My lack of Toms. I have one pair, but I need them in every colour god damnit!
My skin. It is being particularly temperamental these days. One day it's dry, the next it's oily and spotty! I can't win!
My upload speeds. Yes, It still takes me 10 hours to upload a video...

HATES

Youtube. I'm sorry but at this very moment I HATE IT! It's not letting me upload any videos for you guys!
My current state of health. I was told I have a stomach ulcer the other day which I am on tablets for. I also wake up with a headache everyday which sucks!
Kicking my caffeine addiction. I haven't had a drink of coke for about 4 days now, and I am seriously climbing the walls. It has contributed to the worst moods I have ever been in.
Chain messages on Blackberry messenger. Seriously. Just fuck the fuck off!
Being skint. I'm always bloody broke these days! Booo!

Hey guys! So, I did this look when I went out on Saturday night and it seemed to go down well as a going-out look! I suppose it could also be a day look if you wanted! Wear it whenever! Haha.

Hey guys! So, today is my 2 year Youtube anniversary! It really doesn't feel like it's been that long! I am doing a couple of things to celebrate. I made a huge thank you video, I will launch a contest in the coming weeks and I did this, a re-creation of the first ever make up tutorial. I will warn you before you scroll down to see the original. I SUCKED SO BAD! Haha! Anyways, I hope you like my re-creation. As you will see, it is alot more dramatic than the original! I guess that matches me... my personality has grown and blossomed so much over the past 2 years, and I have you guys to thank for it! Now, without further ado... lets get to the original!

Right, so this is the original look that I created in my first ever make up tutorial. I only had 2 brushes, no glitter and I didn't have a clue how to apply false lashes! Also, I didn't have mad skillz like I do now! Haha!

For the original, I used my Urban Decay book of shadows but for the re-creation, I have used some of my favourite brands that I have discovered over the years! Hope you like it!

Lip products that come off pretty much straight away after application. Urgh man!
Having to top up my phone JUST so I can listen to my voicemail, even though every other call I make is free.
The lack of nice weather. I wish I could wear a dress every day and be warm. You Californians have no idea how lucky you have it! GRR!

Lady Gaga 'Born This Way' Inspired Make-Up Look

Hey guys! So, today is a very exciting day for all you little monsters out there! We witnessed the re-birth of the mother monster... or the premier of Lady Gaga's highly anticipated music video for the awesome song 'Born This Way' which EVERYONE is talking about! The video was only released a few hours ago, but I decided to get straight in there and film this look as soon as the video premiered! I gotta stay on top of my game you know! Haha!

Anyway, this look is based on the screenshot from the video below. I also created her famous 'horns' using some clever contouring. Hope you like it!

Ok, so I know I'm all like 'F**k you' to the haters, but I feel the need to blog about this.

So we all know that whatever happens on the internet, theres gonna be haters. It's inevitable and pretty much comes hand in hand with being on youtube. I get the odd hater comment, that doesn't bother me at all but I think the 'hatred' of the youtube beauty community has reached new highs. I have discovered an entire forum (yes, ENTIRE FORUM) dedicated to people trash talking and flaming people on youtube. I was so shocked by some of the things that I saw on there, including horrible comments about MY FRIENDS that I know from youtube. I'm not going to mention any names but it was pretty harsh. All I can say is, thank god I'm not on there! Hold on though... does that mean I'm not famous enough to have that kind of hate? I'f that's the case, I want to stay in obscurity because I am actually terrified that I wouldn't be able to handle comments like the ones being left on this forum.

Actually, nahh. I don't want to remain in the shadows just because some stupid little keyboard warriors (who have no lives of their own, sit and watch the likes of xSparkage and Petrilude, bathing in their own little puddle of jealousy that radiates from their idiot little bodies) are just going to hate on me. BOO HATERS! STOP HATING!

Common Make-Up Mistakes

So, I was watching a certain make-up guru's video about make up mistakes and I realised that hey! I should do a video like that WITHOUT BEING A TOTAL DICK ABOUT IT! God, there's actually nothing wrong with being nice once in a while! All I am going to do in my video is talk to you guys about how to improve any mistakes you might make with your make up. I am NOT going to tell you that you look 'gross' or 'disgusting' because thats me. I have this amazing ability to talk to people as if they are human beings! I think some gurus forget that actual people watch their videos...
Anyway, this is turning into a bit of a bitch-fest, but the video will be up soon, plus a blog post with all the information that you need to go with the video! :)

Hair Plans!

Hey guys! So I was just sitting around thinking today, and I decided that I am going to dye my hair red. Not like pillar-box red but a nice deep darkish red. Now this proves a bit of a problem, because my hair is currently dyed jet black and damaged to f**k! Sorry, I couldn't think of any other words to describe it there!
Anyways, I have come up with this list after a bit of research. It includes tips, for myself really, on how I can get my hair back into some kind of decent condition before the big transformation!

Cut down on drinking Coke. Caffeine does bad stuff to your hair apparently.
Eat more foods that include B vitamins, such as tuna, wholegrains, bananas, potatoes, beans, eggs and bran.
Take hair supplements.
Sleep at least 8 hours a night.
Shampoo hair once a week.
Condition hair every couple of days.
Use hair treatment once a week.
NO hair styling tools eg. Hair dryer, straighteners, curler, etc...
NO styling products.
Go to the hair dressers for a trim every 2 months.
NO hair dye.
Avoid putting your hair in the water at the swimming pool.
Always be gentle with hair.
Use a wide toothed comb, not a brush.
Always comb through before washing.
Blast hair with cold water after washing. I do this anyway, and it helps the hair follicle lie flatter.
Use dry shampoo between washes.
Use leave in conditioner.

EARTH Element Inspired Make-Up Look

Hey guys! OMG I absolutely love this look! Excuse me while I have a makeup-gasm...

*ahem*

Anyways, this is a mock contest entry to my element theme contest. I will be doing looks for all 4 elements but I have chosen to start with Earth. First of all, I did a wearable neutral look on the top lid, as some of the personality traits of Earth astrological signs are calmness and togetherness, so I did quite a subtle look first of all. I then added greens under the eye to represent forests and woodland. The best bit of this look is definitely the leopard print! I wanted to show my links to animals of the earth, so I think this awesome pattern embodies that quite well! I also added glossy lips, flirty lashes and winged liner because the earth element relates to feminine energy. Anyhow, I'm gonna stop waffling before you fall asleep reading this! Review/Rave: MUFE #92 Eyeshadow

Hey guys!

So this is the first review I've ever posted on my blog so please bare with me. As much as I try, I'm not exactly the Temptalia or xSparkage of the beauty world!

God, I love them...

This is turning into a guru-loving ramble, so without further ado, I'd like to share with you my new favourite eyeshadow and it's not even MAC! Which is saying something seeing as I prefer MAC over any brand... This is Make-Up Forever eye shadow in shade #92.

If you're reading this, you will definitely of heard of this! It seems like everyone has something positive to say about it. I for one absolutely love it! I had never tried Make-Up Forever cosmetics before, and I thought the best eye shadow to try first would be the one that everyone raves about! So I had been eyeballing it online for months, wondering to myself, 'Should I buy it or not?' My searching was brought to a stop the other day because my wonderful Youtube friend Matilda sent me a surprise package, which included MUFE #92! I couldn't believe it! I swatched the shadow on my hand and I wasn't surprised at all how pigmented and beautiful it is, because of the amount of good reviews I had read. The first make-up look I did using this shadow was just a plain purple look, because I wanted to test out it's staying power, creasing, etc. I was so pleased with the results! The colour stayed vibrant all day and it didn't crease at all. The only downside I found with this shadow is that it tends to stain your lid slightly, so make sure you prime your eyes properly and use an eyeshadow base. I would recommend the NYX jumbo eye shadow pencils for this because not only do they stop the staining, they keep your eye make up in place all day!

Overall, I think this is a colour that everyone should include in their make-up collection. If your searching for the perfect matte purple eyeshadow, Make-Up Forever #92 is the one for you!

Back To School w/ Sleek Cosmetics!

Hey guys!

So this is a wearable back to school look using the Sleek storm palette. The colours in the palette lean towards smokey eyes, but you can easily tone it down and create a look like this!

I would say this is more of a high school/college look, as it would be a little too dramatic for those of you in middle school. Personally, I'm an art student in college so I really have no restrictions on how much make up I can wear.

If you've seen it in the tutorial, you'll see it looks pretty dark. Believe me, it's alot more wearable in real life!

So yesterday, I bought 3 of the Sleek eyeshadow palettes! They are actually amazing and you should go buy em! haha
